According to some stories, Sda Kaur was born in Ferozepur in 1762. Sardarni Sda Kaur was married to Gurbakhsh Singh. Gurbakhsh Singh was the son of Jai Singh, a misldar to the Kanahiya misl. That time Kanahiya misl was considered one of the strongest misls. At that time there were wars over the division of territories between all the misls. It was also the cause of the death of Sardarni Sda Kaur's husband Gurbakhsh singh who was killed in 1784 by Ranjit Singh's father, Mahan Singh in a battle near Jahadpur Sekhwan village near Aachal Sahib. At that time Gurbakhsh Singh was only 25 years old. When the news of death is received by Jai Singh and Sardarni Sda Kaur at Batala, Sada Kaur rides on a horse with a sword and runs to the battlefield herself. Fights bravely. She carries husband's dead body to Batala and did not allow Mahan Singh to occupy Batala city. Even today the tomb of Gurbaksh Singh is still on the bank of the a drain. To finish this enimity with the Shukarchakia Missal, Misldar Jai Singh and his daughter-in-law sardarni Sda Kaur, made matrimonial engagement of Mehitab Kaur with Ranjit Singh son of Mahan Singh. The enmity of the two missiles turns into a relationship.

Now She had responsibilit of two misls. Sardarni Sda Kaur was a very brave and a sharp minded woman. Now, with her wisdom and courage, she started commanding two missiles.

In 1796, Shah Zaman, who was from Afghanistan, considered Punjab as weak and invaded Punjab with 30000 troops. No one stopped him and he reached on the territories the Shukarchakkia Missal. Ranjit Singh was only 16 years old. But Sada Kaur, along with Ranjit Singh, stood like a rock in the path, and the two misles kept the Afghans rolling backward, and the Afghans had to flee back to the field.

After some time the Bhangi Missal which was ruling at Royal Castel of Lahore, started harassing people. People requested to Ranjit Singh's to assault Lahor castel. Sardarni Sda Kaur advised his son-in-law, Ranjit Singh, that if Lahore was taken over, the people would be happy too and our boundaries would increase. Sda Kaur. She broke up with Maharaja Ranjit Singh and she was thinking about re-establishing her misl. Ranjit Singh also felt this. He detained Sardarni Sda Kaur in the Lahore Fort and handed over the property and jagir to Batala to his son Sher Singh, who was his eldest son and grand son of Sardarni Sda Kaur. Sda Kaur died in the royal fort in 1832.

Sada Kaur, the most courageous woman who made Ranjit Singh from misldar to Sher-e-Punjab. Today, however, our historians are bringing forward the people who traited Khalsa kingdom. The first traitors were Sandhvalaya brothers Ajit Singh,Atr Singh and Lehina Singh who would not have been killed by Maharaja Sher Singh. These are three persons who firstly flee away to British empire and returned lahor by seeking excuse from Khalsa kingdom. Today we are remembering all these incidents.Today we all think that the Khalsa state would have been alive today if the Sandhwalia brothers did not kill Sher Singh.
